The cottages are located in 14 acres of trimmed gardens and offers very good views over one of Africa’s most peaceful locations. The lodge overlooks Lake Bunyonyi and has got 11 self-contained cottages and arranged in the central lodge building, where the visitors can enjoy a tasty dish with in the restaurant or also relax and have a breath-taking view. The lodge has got 25 seater motor launch which is good for taking to the Islands during the day tours or as you watch the stars on our night-time tour.
For those that are so adventurous, this cottage lodge has got two high end bombardier jetskis that is available for hire plus the Honda quad bikes that can be got to move the muddy tracks along the lake shores or the ridges that overlook the lake.
About the directions, take the Kisoro road out of Kabale and then turn left at the well sign post junction. Then follow the road for about 5km until you arrive the five way junction at the top of the ridge. Go to the left road and then follow it for only 2km until you arrive at Arcadia Lodge. This lodge has got very good views that overlook the lake, the main area with the bar and the restaurant, 11 self-contained cottages, WiFi with in the main area, the view of Mount Muhavura, and 14 acres of the trimmed gardens.
The activities at this lodge include; Bird watching, motor launch for the lake cruises, nature and view painting, the community visits, jet skiing, quad biking and the local dancers & entertainment.
